Yoast SEO Premium 16.5

Yoast SEO 16.5 is out today! This release introduces an addition to Yoast’s social media features: the Social Appearance Templates. With these templates, you can set a default social template for every page, custom post type, taxonomy, and archive. No more ugly images, weird titles or meta descriptions for you! Enhancements​

  • Introduces the Social Appearance Templates feature. This will give you the possibility to set title and description templates and a default image for social sharing of all your content types, archives and taxonomies.
  • Improves the stemming of Spanish words that look like ending in suffix -mente, e.g. "clemente" was incorrectly stemmed to "cl", now it's stemmed to "clement".

Bugfixes​

  • Fixes a bug where the Yoast\WP\SEOnable_notification_{$watch_type}_{$notification_type} filter name was not correctly registered.
